Gaga over Bigbang.. Super Junior.. AsiaTix.. 2NE1.. Girls Genenration.. 2PM.. U-KISS.. T-ara.. Beast.. BoA.. Rain? Admiring them from head to foot, learning their language and culture.

By 2011, K-Pop has become the mainstream genre in most East and South East Asia, including Japan, Malaysia, Mongolia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, China, Vietnam. Through the internet, recently, K-pop started to expand to the rest of the world. Pop, dance, electro-pop, hip hop, rock, R&B and electronic music originating in South Korea—this are the genres that amused all of us.

The founding of South Korea's largest talent agency, S.M. Entertainment, in 1995 by Korean entrepreneur Lee Soo Man led to the first K-pop girl groups and boy bands. By the late 1990s, YG Entertainment, DSP Entertainment, and JYP Entertainment had burst onto the scene and were producing talent as quickly as the public could consume it.

With help from social networking sites, like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, the ability of k-pop to reach millions of people had been just a piece of cake. Internet had made them have exposure and popularity gained in just a matter of seconds or minutes.

These sensations made a wide-spread drive to millions of youth from different parts of the world. Addicted to their on of a kind style and modern approach to music.

Though most of their songs are not understandable and their “engrish” are not that good, we still crave for their songs and most of all their oh-so-cute faces and outfits that we all want to have or at least copy-cat their unique sense of styles.
